It's Labor Day weekend which means summer comes to an end. Kids are going back to school and studios are tallying up their profits from the long summer season. We sit down and talk about the summer flicks - what we liked, what we didn't like, what surprised us, and what we are looking forward to in the upcoming Fall season. Special Guest - Vic Holtreman from ScreenRant.com.
It's our annual look at the upcoming television series, allowing us to talk about what shows we like, what shows we don't care much for, and what has us excited in the rapidly approaching new television season. Cinema Blend Television Editor Kelly West and Tech/Games Editor Steve West join us for a look at television, the Emmys, and more.
Poor Star Wars. Its fanbase endured through weaker movies and characters aimed at children, but I'm not sure the franchise will survive through The Clone Wars, one of the worst things to hit theaters this year. We discuss the downfall of Star Wars, Tom Cruise being replaced by a woman, more remake rumors, and more (Guest Third Seat: Cinema Blend's Mack Rawden).
We're back after an irregular few weeks. So what's new? Rafe is smoking, Sometimes Tim admits to a sordid past, and Margaret is harboring ill will over thoughts that she could be replaced. Still, we put together a pretty good show this week, touching base on Morgan Freeman's accident, Bernie Mac and Bernie Brillstein's deaths, more franchises attempting to move forward with new chapters, the latest from Tarantino, and even a little more follow up from Comic-Con.
Here’s our weekly video edition, filled with clips, comments, and more on the movies you can expect to find in the theater this weekend, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Swing Vote. Like what you see? Subscribe to the video cast feed to keep up to date with our video edition. ... read more
The new Knight Rider series has created a lot of debate among fans of the old tried-and-true Hasselhoff series. Can this new show live up to the legend of the original? Can it avoid its pitfalls of formulaic storylines? Where in the world was turbo boost on that backdoor pilot? We got a chance to talk with a few members of the cast as well as one of the show's producers and ask them these exact questions.
We didn't wind up having time to run a show from San Diego during our adventures at Comic Con, so instead we're putting together a show mid-week. Rafe talks about the Comic Con experience, what was good and what fell flat, and pulls back the curtain on a few things behind the scenes while Margaret and Tim add their usual flair to the conversation.
The Dark Knight has arrived, blowing away box-office records and most of our expectations. Hear our individual takes on the latest Batman movie - both the good and the bad, as well as our thoughts on accusations of corpse licking in the case of Heath Ledger. Batman wasn't the only super-heroic tale worth viewing this week. We give you our thoughts on Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, the Watchmen trailer, and more!

In less than a week The Dark Knight will descend upon us all. Will it be the movie we're all looking forward to? We'll see soon enough. For this week, we talk about Hellboy, how other movies are expecting to compete with The Dark Knight, the awesomeness of Robert Downey Jr., projects from Joss Whedon we're looking forward to, Comic Con anticipations, and whether we would be interested in seeing Ellen Ripley fight Aliens again.
The Dark Knight is on everyone's mind, but it's still two weeks away. Thankfully we have Hellboy to tide us over and get rid of that miserable Hancock aftertaste. We discuss the flow of super-hero movies, our take on the editorial of whether The Dark Knight will damage future comic-book movies, several pieces of casting news this week, and whether anyone really wants to see a Friends film.

We're back from vacation and fully recharged. Of course, that means we're a little disconnected from this week's major events, but we still put together a pretty good show for your enjoyment. Catch our review of Get Smart, a moment of tribute for Stan Winston, a debate over Ridley Scott's recent career, and the first part of our response to AFI's most recent lists of favorite films.
